OLD GRUENE MARKET DAYS
Come visit Gruene the third weekend of each month for this craft fair. All items are handcrafted by local venders. There are lots of booths offering a variety of items to choose from. Old Gruene Market Days offers something for everyone.
TEXAS METAL ARTS FESTIVAL
Held this September in Gruene, this festival celebrates all things metal. Find everything from outdoor sculptures to fine jewelry from the best metal artists in Texas
COMAL COUNTY FAIR
This is one of the oldest and largest county fairs in Texas . Held in late September, this fair includes not only livestock and produce competitions, but also a rodeo, carnival, entertainment, dancing, even a tractor pull. Everything you could want in a county fair. Come join the fun at the Comal County Fair Grounds located at 701 E. Common in New Braunfels.
CLAY FEST
Not just another craft show. Clayfest, held in October in Gruene, features some of the best Texan artists working in clay today. Come watch demonstrations in potter's wheel work and kiln firing. You can even learn some sculptural construction methods. But the best part is you'll be able to buy the latest work directly from the artist. There is no excuse to miss this one, because admission is free.

Held in October, this festival features Texas wine, Texas music, and Texas fun.
WURSTFEST
You can never have too much of a good thing. Come join the fun in New Braunfels this November as we start our Ten Day Salute to Sausage. We'll throw some music, dancing, and plenty of fun too.
WASSAILFEST
Kick off the holiday season right this December with a sample or two, or more, of Wassail, a traditional European beverage. Local merchants serve their own secret Wassail recipe and compete for the “best” Wassail. Enjoy the downtown holiday decorations as you choose your favorite Wassail from the local merchants. Wassail comes ‘leaded' or ‘unleaded' which makes for great fun for the entire family.
WEIHNACHTSMARKT
Weihnachtsmarkt, offering unique decorations, gifts, and specialty items, begins with a formal Preview Gala which includes private shopping. Everyone is invited the following morning to finish Christmas shopping while the kids visit with Santa. This is a great place to pick up a little holiday spirit.
